Body Clock

In the era of fitness devices like fit bits, apple watches, trackers etc , that continuously bombard us with the knowledge of our own body vitals, which is awesome for a very scientific insight, we have forgotten or not even acknowledged the basic fact that our body talks to us. It knows, it records, it executes. It’s you. So when things go out of hands, it is the first one to know about and thus starts the healing process with the first hand information. Right from managing your sleep cycle, bowel movement, body weight, menstrual cycle, hormones and so on , it does it all. It’s a miracle but at the same time a little unforgiving if we don’t compliment its skills!

The question is what can we do to perfectly compliment the mechanism and be the part of the change from the start.

Being a little specific here, I will talk about my body clock dealing with digestive/stomach issues. I am a female who have just entered her 30s and have a three year old baby. Basically I fit in those average humans who are confused about their age like whether they are snapchat, tiktok and silly selfies type or yoga and spiritual talk types. But I manage to do it all or as I believe I do!

Consider following two things that personally worked wonders for my all time bloated belly:

1. “Life is about balance. 80% of the time be your healthiest self. 20% of the time indulge- guilt free.”

2. Talking about yoga, agnisara pranayam is the one stop solution for all stomach issues.

Our body becomes a little arrogant towards the guilty pleasures. So if at this hour of our body clock, I we indulge and make mistakes, we are not forgiven. It punishes us with sort of signs. Currently, signs are a little lenient like bloated stomach, acidity, gas, double chins but i assume, it’s just a start. If one continues making mistakes, it will be giving harder time, that is totally undesirable.

Therefore, we should start listening to our own body and make a decision that sounds tricky but with a little time and dedication one can get the hang of it. It is to start 80:20 diet rule. I read it on the packet of oats super food. This 80:20 rule actually fits everywhere. I exercise with this rule in mind. For instance doing rigorous exercise 80% of the time and 20% of the time we can do with a little less, just to break the mundane.

So all of those in my age group, the time is now. In my experience, this clock is accurate, perfect and your body’s best friendly advisor. It’s customised to ones best needs and works towards healing and alerting right from the start. Keep listening to it and be healthy!

    Your stomach is not a dustbin, fill it with some healthy stuff only. A routine exercise is a major need as food is! The body doesn’t lie.
